Specialist Subject Editor
Megan R. Gunnar is currently a Professor of Developmental Psychology at the Institute of Child Development, University of Minnesota. She is a Specialist Subject Editor of the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry. She holds two chairs at the University of Minnesota, one a Regents Professorship and the other a Distinguished McKnight University Professorship. She studies the psychosocial regulation of stress biology during human development and the impact of early life stress on brain and behavioral development. She was recently awarded the James McKeen Cattell Award from the Association for Psychological Sciences for lifetime achievement in contributions to applied psychology. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
